Slip, slop, this wine slaps. It was warm in Denmark, an emerald green dot in Western Australia, in 2022. Grapes ripened under the toasty southern coast sun. Riesling taking up most of the blend with 85%. While old vine Gewürztraminer and a splash of skin-contact Vermentino for good measure. Lemon meets lime, and jasmine meets honeysuckle. Fruit, phenolics and less. This one's to be shared.

Cab Franc plays the lead in this sensual red blend, complemented by 15% each parcels of Gamay, Grolleau and Cabernet Sauvignon. As you might expect, the ripe red fruits pop through, plus a spicy nose care of the Grolleau and some smooth texture care of the Cab cousins. Young, this is supple, light and fruity, though with time will develop rich depth. Domaine Ogerau declare they make wines "of gourmet pleasure and conviviality", and they've hit the nail on the head here.
