If the wines produced by Mario Marson are overall a little Italian inspired, the palate of this Heathcote Shiraz is one that stays true to the region; it’s the generosity of its length and complexity that you might attribute to the Italian roots. Leading you in with a little red fruit, clove and dark chocolate, a complex palate of spiced dark plum, licorice, cedar, earth and herbs balance out 30% new French oak and robust tannin.
