Why we love this Wine
Just to the south of Burgundy, France’s renowned high-altar to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, you will find the much improved wine region of Mâcon, home to some delicious and great value wines, compared to their neighbours up north. Here, Verget ticks both boxes... Crisp, linear Chardonnay from the commune of Viré-Clessé that resounds with pure stone-fruits, yellow plum and soft spice. We are big fans of the wines of Verget.
