One mustn't play favourites, but its no secret that there's a sweet spot for Barbera over here. Drops like this are why. Savoury and classic in style, this is in its sweet spot for drinking right now and will definitely continue to develop beautifully with another year or two of age on it. Dark fruits, a little liquorice, pepper — developing a little gamey complexity as the years work their magic. Magnifico.
