Why we love this Wine
There's nary a Carignan we don't delight in, but this is the style somewhat rethought. Testalonga have taken bush vines from Swartland’s dry soils (in South Africa's Western Cape) and handled with a light touch. Fermented 100% whole bunch in concrete, the 2024 leans into tension — lower pH, fine tannin, plenty of nerve. Pomegranate, sour cherry and raspberry, with white pepper and friendly fynbos. Light-bodied, racy and transparent. Open young, serve cool and quenching.
