Carey Gully is overwhelmingly pretty, from its rolling hills and varied plantings to its snaking rows of courageous cooler climate vines. From his minimal carbon setup in McLaren Vale, Jordan Hein has channelled charmed winter drinking with a rich, winter style Chardonnay made exquisite via half new French oak, full malo and an unfiltered finish.
