La Mesma is owned and operated by the Rosina sisters, Paola, Francesca and Anna in Gavi of Piedmont, Italy and this is their expression of Cortese using only the local indigenous yeasts found on the grapes at harvest. This method creates a true snapshot of the vineyard and vintage, intensifying the waxy texture and complex flavour profile. A family affair we can definitely get behind; not just an utterly drinkable Cortese, but a commitment to biodiversity in the vineyard.
