Why we love this interesting drink
For the initiated, this is not your run-of-the-mill Ratafia, oh no siree. A different beast, Egly-Ouriet make it using freshly picked Ambonnay Pinot Noir - Grand Cru only. A Mistelle, spirit is distilled from Champagne grape skins to raise the ABV to 17%. Bold and lush after four years in barrel, with Egly’s signature fruit purity, lap up marzipan and lemon rind, macerated peach and nutmeg. Keeps in the fridge for ages.
