Why we love this Wine
2016 is a smoking vintage in Piemonte and the Barolo wines from Chiara Boschis are some of her best to date. The Nebbiolo here is sourced from a blend of seven plots totalling 2.5 hectares in all, across the towns of Barolo, Monforte, and Serralunga - Terlo, Liste, Paiagallo, Ravera di Monforte, Mosconi, Gabutti and Baudana.. It explodes from the glass with dark cherry fruits, spice, herbs, lavender and polished leather. Elegant, structured and in perfect pitch it’s a stunning wine that has garnered much praise from the big gun wine critics.
