Why we love this Wine
Lovely ‘ol Barbera …. Another of Piemonte’s ‘secondary’ grape varieties that provides great value and satisfied fist-bumps between drinking buddies. Cherry, plum and pure blue-fruits cut with amaro herbs, cocoa and violet notes….earthy and linear with crisp, fresh acidity driving it along and a lovely savoury twist on the exit. A lovely organic wine sourced from 3 vineyard sites: Mosconi (55 yr old vines), Gabutti [Serralunga] (15 yr old vines) and Ravera di Monforte (15 yr old vines).
