Gamay just goes. This is light enough to drink with alarming ease, but rich, with cinnamon and liquorice and a surprising amount of dark-fruited character. Depth and delightful acid. No added SO2, 17-day maceration w daily pump-overs. We'd drink this alongside hearty fare and pity the fool that thinks only a Shiraz can match those winter dishes like osso bucco, Sunday sauce.
