Believe the Jura hype. Winemaker Patrick Ligeron's La Vouivre blend balances 70% Chardonnay with 30% Savagnin, pulled from four plump parcels in Jura. Uber approachable, easy drinking stuff, with singing acid balanced by round texture. Aged 12-15 months in barrel, a bodied beauty. Rich and long, a little ginger, white fruits, many a mineral note.
