Why we love this Wine
Tim Kirk’s much admired, flagship Shiraz Viognier is an Australian benchmark for good reason. The fruit purity and detail here is a sight to behold with gorgeous dark berry and plum fruits built on a framework of deep spice, roasting meats, turned earth and flitting notes of white pepper, violets, dark chocolate and anise. It’s a seamless wine with tight ripe tannin that seems to melt away into the fruit. If you can keep your hands off it it will live for decades. A stunner.
