Why we love this Wine
Inspired by the great French wines of the Jura, this is oxidative Savagnin/Chardonnay from the Between 5 Bells vault. It’s made by letting the barrels of Savagnin slowly evaporate for years, then introducing a lick of aged Chardonnay to the mix. Rich in both bouquet and palate, nuttiness and honey like nothing else, creamy and oily. Wild, experimental, done good. Well worth a look for fans of this style.
