Why we love this Wine
Currently one of the hottest producers in Rioja, brothers Arturo and Kike de Miguel Blanco are the driving force behind the fantastic Artuke Bodegas y Viñedos. They riff on Tempranillo like total rock-gods and their 2019 is a fleshy and bouncy ride with the classic Spanish variety. A little carbonic maceration opens things up a little and lets some light and textural elements strut their stuff. Pure plum/berry fruits, spice, cola, a lovely sleek palate shape and a juicy framework that make it delightfully sluggable.
