Saep Wines is the Adelaide Hills-based project of longtime wine-grower Dave Gartelmann and there are a couple of things you need to know. He’s a great farmer that embraces all things organic and biodynamic and the wines have a superbly detailed natty, lo-fi edge and inherent drinkability that we love. Here, Shiraz from Hope Forest - hand-picked, wild-ferment, whole-berry, a splash of Semillon and pressed early to tank. Just a pure, wild-eyed expression of site.
