Cantine Lenotti is situated in Bardolino, on the Western shores of Lake Garda and this particular elixir, a 50/50 blend of Sangiovese and Merlot is classified IGT Rosso del Veneto. It’s a little Italian ripper. You can expect plush cherry and red plummy fruits with a framework of spice, licorice and amaro herbs. It’s supple and toothsome and delightfully savoury in the medium-bodied Italian way.
