Why we love this Wine
It's hard not to get a bit hyperbolic describing this impressive, expressive bottle from Northern Piedmont. We've surely tried medium-bodied reds with as much aroma, spice and finesse, but it's hard to recall them just now. It's a vibrantly red, bright, light and savoury expression of Nebbiolo. There's a little ashy/tarry perfume and a grippy, snaring finish. Cherry, leather, mint. Gritty little bite of tannin pulls you back for more. A stand-out offering from the oldest productive winery in Gattinara, truly world-class Nebb.
