Why we love this Wine
Buy now or sulk later. This year's iteration of Murdoch Hill's beloved Adelaide Hills Riesling is as aromatic as ever, and a little more textural. Where previous vintages were all apples and pears, this time round we were pleasantly surprised by more exuberant melon and lime. Riesling's acid is present, but softened a little with a creamier mouthfeel. The Macclesfield-grown vines are all 20 years+ now, and the fruit is showing its richness.
