Why we love this Wine
Roots run deep in Sevre et Maine. Not just those of the low yielding, older vines, but the many generations of men and women who've driven forward viticulture and winemaking in the region, preserving tradition while embracing better practice where suitable, ie. organic conversion and biodynamic restoration. Pauline and Francois Menard pay local homage with this Melon Blanc that nods to the grape's parentage (Pinot Noir and Gouet Blanc). A restrained nose of stonefruit belies a lively attack on the palate. Fresh, saline and typical (in the best way) Muscadet.
