Why we love this Wine
Another of Mac Forbes Yarra Valley ‘Village’ (Vi-large) wines, this one East facing within a smaller valley that runs from Yarra Junction to Poweltown. It’s later ripening here with higher acids gifting us with a lovely wine of velocity and focus. There are restrained notes of nectarine along with pithy citrus fruit, light vanillin oak, perhaps a liminal hint of struck match and a drive that propels that wine with a finely-honed and cleansing cadence across the palate
