Why we love this Wine
This is one of those wines that has a perfume just as pleasurable as the wine within. We'd happily sit with the scent roses and raspberries, wild herbs and tart cherries for hours on end. A charming bottle from one of Barbaresco's finest producers and most lauded vineyards: Cavanna. What's not to love? A generous palate and silky rich tannins. Notes of black tea, a slight earthiness and savoury spices. Aged for 24 months in Slovonian oak, followed by a further 6 months in bottle. Well worth the wait.
