Rare is a stretch when Pinot Gris grows on every second hillside in the world — "hen's teeth" is a bit of a cheeky claim. But this one's small-batch and estate-only, off ground the Saturno family spent two decades sorting out.
2025 ran hot and dry, the earliest, fastest vintage in memory. Fruit picked with concentration in mind, pressed oxidatively (a little air contact before it hits tank, old-school), then a cool stainless ferment to lock in the zip. Green pear, musk, citrus pith, a taut line of acid. No baby fat anywhere.
Rare-ish. De-lish.
