Kopp this. A well-balanced banger from Baden, Germany's undersung hero for Riesling. 18g/L of residual sugar gives serious sating quality to this just off-dry wine, for all it's lively freshness. Made from 20- to 45-year-old vines grown on silty, granitic soils, the fruit is fermented and aged in stainless steel for seven months. Slicing acid, nectarine nose, orange peels and restrained tropical character. Chill hard, then let the warmth of your hand on the glass unlock evolving, luscious flavour.
