Why we love this Wine

Chardonnay with a pounding pulse. Golden apples, white peach, and a naughty streak of zippy acidity. There’s just enough creaminess to smooth out the edges, but no flabby oak or excess weight—just pure, clean refreshment with a mineral backbone. Slightly nutty, a little buttery, and a whole lot of fun to drink. From the 1 ha that Ewald Kopp started with in 1996, today the winery has expanded to encompass 32 hectares of vineyards in the oft-acclaimed Ortenau region. Ze Germans do it darn well.d
