Why we love this Wine
The name's a joke at his own expense. François Rousset-Martin built his reputation on topped-up, non-oxidative Jura whites — so of course the one wine he makes the old way, sous voile under a veil of flor, deliberately left un-topped, is called Oxymore. Veil Number 4 means four years under that veil, from just one or two barrels. Faint curry spice, nutty with air, chalky and dry, finishing long, salty, savoury. Not a contradiction. A flex.
