No question, Domaine Rolet is one of the jewels of Jura, with its idyllic vineyards that perch atop Jurassic limestone. A blend of 40% Poulsard, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Trousseau, locally-loved varieties abound. This one promises bold aromas of red berries and inkier cherries, with earthy spice character underlying. Strawberries pop fresh and crunchy on the palate, despite time in big oak barrels— a little acid, a lotta fun.
