Why we love this Wine
It’s hard to look at a bottle from this brand and not smile. The joy it brings at face value is matched by cleverness in the winery, which translates to an intriguing drink. A variety and style typically associated with French wine region Jura, this is a lighter none less powerful McLaren Vale Savagnin that spent five days cold soaked with skin contact before being pressed into fourdre and old barrique. Tropical fruit, nuttiness and underlying salinity. Complex, textural and – crucially – fun.
