Why we love this Wine
This is Syrah at its most profound, from that heartland that is the Barossa Valley. Barossa Shiraz can be so much more than its reputation even. Here it's expressed with elegance and restraint, capturing greater nuance in its delicacy. A vibrant burst of dark cherry flavour with mineral depth and nicely cracked black pepper. The acid is perfectly refreshing. This is something special in a single vineyard offering, the Stone Well site being rich in pink quartz. A unique sense of place in one beautiful bottle.
