Why we love this Wine
These vineyards make beautiful site-specific wines. This one comes from Block 30, planted in 1946, adjacent to the glorious High Sands Block. On skins for 101 days (not a typo), the juice is free run, not pressed. All that tannin and mouthfeel comes from the berries. Cherry and fresh raspberry, grippy and pure. Grenache to rival the best. Just wow.
