Why we love this Wine
As Madge would say, Papa don't preach. PAPA don't need to. Leading the charge in Victoria's flourishing natty wine scene is Xavier Goodridge, as is demonstrably clear in this confident Alsatian Pinot Gris. It's a big dog too; spicy and textural, tropical and fresh. Five months resting on lees gives this wine plenty of vitality and chew, alongside brioche toastiness. Endlessly expressive, with ginger and cinnamon and candied orange peel. Yum yum.
