The wines of Emmerich Knoll from Austria’s Wachau wine region are much revered and this 2019 Riesling cements that reputation. Characters of crisp apple and citrus notes abound with hints of white flowers, almond paste, a light herbal nuance and perhaps a touch of barley water in the mix.
