Why we love this Wine
Warramate is the veiled half of a famous address. Sarah Crowe, Yarra Yering's own winemaker and Halliday's Winemaker of the Year, crafts this Chardonnay the same way as the big label, just priced like it isn't. Whole-bunch pressed, barrel fermented, oak kept to in the background. Lemon verbena, crisp pear, grapefruit pith, a shread of salinity for sanity. Textured, long, and just a bit showy. This ones got serious little sister energy.
