Why we love this Wine
There is some funky stuff coming out of W.A.’s Swan Valley wine region and Garth Cliff and Kristen McGann from Vino Volta get a big high-five from us for this cracking skin contact white wine. Perth Hills Gewurztraminer and Swan Valley Frontignac here, three weeks on skins before pressing off to old barriques. It is awash with heady Turkish delight, rose water, citrus and souk-like spice. Textural and savoury with some amaro herbal twists on the delicious finish.
