An organic field blend GSM, heavy on the G? Yes, please. 50% Grenache, 30% Shiraz and 20% Mourvedre are interplanted across the vineyard that encompasses the Vanguardist winery at Seppeltsfield. Hand-harvested, destemmed, four weeks on skins, and the outcome is vibrant and youthful. Cherry red fruits, fresh and drinkable. Winemaker Michael Corbett calls it a bistro-style wine, which we're taking to mean dangerously drinkable.
