Classic Rioja, re-tuned. From the limestone clay slopes of Rioja Alta, Valenciso’s Reserva leans on freshness over funk. Tempranillo raised mostly in concrete, with older Caucasian oak used quietly for shape, not flavour. The result: sweet red fruit wrapped in savoury, leathery depth, oak well integrated for pleasing structure, nothing shouty. Calm, composed, and built to go long — though a good decant lets it hit its stride right now. Old-school bones, modern energy.
