Why we love this Wine
Bodacious Bordeaux with stacks of friendly fruit. Grown on gravelly topsoil over limestone bedrock, the harsh soil type restricts grape size to boost concentration of phenolics, giving a seriously potent, tannic and aromatic end wine. We get cherry, blackcurrant and strawberry. Soft tannin and oak balance. A little tobacco for the nose and bitter cocoa on the palate. Despite the deeply concentrated colour, this isn't harmed by a gentle chill on those warmer nights in the garden.
