Why we love this Wine
Wild-hearted Gamay, seriously distinctive. Thick as Thieves’ Levings comes from the Brooklands vineyard on the Yarra Valley floor, made with 100% whole bunches, open-pot fermented, naturally finished, unfined and unfiltered. Aromatics pop — jalapeño, smoky mezcal, blackcurrant, cherry and dried flowers. The palate is juicy yet savoury, brooding with spice, earth and silty, powdery tannin. Bright, long, slightly ferrous. Only 1200 bottles at time of writing.
