Why we love this Wine
Named after an 18th-century painting of a scandalous shipwreck, this charming whole-bunch Cabernet Franc is harvested by hand with very little intervention in the cellar from Charlotte and Thomas in the Anjou. In 2018, the duo gave the middle-finger-salute to the French powers that be, withdrawing all of their AOC wines and changing their name from Clos De L’Elu to Terre De L’Elu. Scandaleux!
