Xavier Bizot brings a distinctly French sensibility to Wrattonbully’s terra rossa and limestone soils. You get a Sauvignon Blanc that's a well travelled, one of sexy depths. The warm 2025 vintage pushes things toward papaya, mango skin and lemon curd, and an oak fermentation rounds things out very sensibly. There’s a saline flourish, aromas of sweet pea and lemongrass, with an umami finish. Textural, restrained, quietly complex. The furthest thing from heavy-handed, best-for-BBQ Savvy B. This gets an invite to all the swanky dinners.
