Bannockburn breeds serious Pinot, and Terra Sancta knows the neighbourhood better than most. The Estate pulls fruit from their home vineyards on the schisty slopes above the Kawarau River, farmed without pesticides at altitude, where cold nights hang onto acidity long into autumn. This is the bigger-boned sibling to their everyday drop — more structure, more depth, same clarity of fruit. Dark cherry, dried herbs, a savoury, earthy undertow. Built to sit in the cellar a while, but no harm done opening it tonight.
