Why we love this Wine
Potent Primitivo comin' at ya. Domenico Mangione is the former chemist who threw it all in to start Tenuta Macchiarola in 2006. He converted what was initially just 6 hectares to biodynamic farming, and has been turning out consistently high-quality wines ever since. Though this has all the fullness you want and expect from Primitivo, it's still what we'd call approachable drinking. Chilled down, this berry blaster red might even be called sessionable.
