Why we love this Wine
Five stars, given gladly. A savoury, classic little Frenchie by way of the Cote de Nuits, safe territory for wines of richness and intensity. A little red fruit, a little darker fruit, lovely complexity that stretches across the palate. 100% whole-cluster pressing, indigenous yeast fermentation, gentle extraction, no sulphur and a lengthy maturation. We respect our elders, and a well-aged wine, sourced from 90-year-old vines, warrants it well.
