Why we love this Wine
Live slow, die never. The 2023 Slow Lane Grenache sources fruit from Fred Howard's 83 year old bush vines, grown on Mclaren Flat's fair sandy plain. From tiny hand-picked berries comes a walloping of flavour, powerfully expressed Grenache with firm, tight tannin. Matured first in larger oak barrels, then tank-aged 9 additional months this is a black forest gateaux of a wine, with bright berries, chocolatey bitterness and a rich, round mouthfeel.
