Garnacha from a house that already knows how to do Tempranillo properly. Señorio de Librares sits in Rioja under the care of sisters Clara and Patricia Espinosa, farmed organically, no shortcuts. Here the grape shows its other side — red fruit instead of black, lighter frame, same perfume. Raspberry, dried herbs, a dusting of white pepper, fine sandy tannin and a lick of acid keeping it all moving. Savoury rather than sweet. Drink it slightly cool and don't wait for a special occasion.
