Why we love this Wine
Riesling holds a special place in the heart of Sarah Adamson of Scout Wines, after having sharpened her chops with time in the Clare Valley & Germany. The fruit source here is Glasnevin gravels near the Waipara River just north of Christchurch, NZ. It’s an intensely aromatic, off-dry style with crunchy detailed grapefruit and lime characters, a creamy lees-inspired mid-palate and a textural edge from barrel ageing. Clean as you like and a delicious, take on the variety.
