Why we love this Wine
Yoshiaki and Kyoko Sato are making magic across the Bass. Producing ‘Sous bois’ or ‘undergrowth’, this Cab Franc is herbaceously green and vegetal, perfumed and curvy. A big hitter at 14.2 ABV with the acid to balance, ripe strawberry fills out it’s lush centre. Settling in Central Otago from Tokyo in 2006, we think the Satos found their thing.
