Why we love this Wine
French American Chris Santini bases himself in Auxey-Duresses, and is something of a mover and a shaker in Burgundy's natural wine 'underground scene' if you will. His label Santini in 2020, now Santini Collective, has offered up some real gems with a fresh take on the region, like this crisp Mâconnais from Uchizy, adazzling pale gold and surprisingly expressive with plenty of apple and pear.
