Why we love this Wine
Syrah, mostly. 7.5% Viognier is the special sauce, co-fermented then barrel-aged 20 months in 300L hogsheads (primarily French oak, some American). Jammy, black cherries in a dense chocolatey lattice, tannic, peppery and herbal. Shiraz for Shiraz-lovers, especially those who enjoy McLaren Vale's maritime influenced style with the cooling influence of the Southern Ocean, or those of the Northern Rhone. A little fresher, and yes, very floral. Wildly floral, if you will.
