Montepulciano has been having a lot of fun in McLaren Vale. Party red, bold and brooding, with clouds of tobacco, dark plum, and aromatic herbs. A supple, savoury, velvety good time that fills the mouth and tantalises the tongue. Basically an invitation to eschew 'Dad Shiraz' and embrace styles a little more frolicsome.
